NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Cubs must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the meeting hall with your Cub for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Jan 2 2012, Happy New Year! no Cub meeting.
Jan 9 2012, Back to school = Back to Cubs! Show & Tell Night.
Jan 16 2012, 'Code of Conduct'. We will discuss expectations and work together to come up with rules and consequences.
Jan 21 2012, Scouting at the Movies. ‘HUGO in 3D’ at Empire Bayer’s Lake. 9am-noon. Youth $15 / Adults $20 includes ticket + snack pack + event crest. Fees due by Jan.12th.
Jan 22 2012, 2nd Beaver Bank group Winter Fun Bash. at Camp. 11am until 2pm. BBQ.
Jan 23 2012, No Cub Meeting.
Jan 30 2012, Weather dependent Skating (outdoor) OR (indoor) Games Night.
February is 'Operation Good Deed'
The concept is one of caring and helping to make life a little easier for someone
by performing a random act of kindness. Let’s all plan to get involved by doing good deeds!
Feb 3-5 2012, WINTER CAMP!! To be held at Fun Forest Cabin (details to follow). We will be building our Kub Kars at camp. $30 camp fee includes Kub Kar Kit. Deadline for registration is Jan 31.
Feb 6 2012, Discovery Centre. 6-8pm. $5 registration fee due Jan 31st.
Feb 13 2012, Pack Cub Car Rally. We race our wooden Cub Cars (built at camp) to see who is fastest/slowest/best design for our Cub Pack
Feb 18 2012, AREA Cub Car Rally. Cub Car Races for all of Sackville/Beaver Bank (over 100 kids!). 9am-2pm at Vineyard Church (“Icecream Church” on Sackville Drive @ Millwood Drive). $5 registration due Feb 13th
Feb 19-26 2012, Scout-Guide “BP” Week. Celebrating our founder Bayden-Powell. Events TBA.
Feb 21 2012, Moosehead Hockey. 2pm at the Metro Centre. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers, Leaders & their families from all over Halifax Area will be in attendance. A special crest will be issued. All tickets are $10.00. We will collect money and purchase the tickets so that the whole Pack will sit together. Uniform is required. A draw for a Signed Mooshead Jersey will be held for Uniformed Youth Only.

Mar 5 2012, Badge Bonanza Night.
Mar 12 2012, March break - No Cub Meeting.
Mar 19 2012, Regular meetings resume.
