Apr 24-25 2010, GROUP CAMP!! 2 night camp to be held at Fun Forest Camp with all other scouting youth from Beaver Bank. A registration kit will be handed out approximately 2-3 weeks ahead.

Apr 26 2010, Collect pledges for ScoutTrees, meet at HTB school.

May 3 2010, Swim-up & Going-up Ceremony. 3rd-year Beavers come to join our pack, while 3rd-year Cubs leave us to join the Scout Troop.

May 5 2010, ScoutTrees - tree planting. Location to be announced.

May 8 2010, Cub Fun Day @ York Redoubt in Purcell's Cove. We will meet at the school and follow each other out (for those who don't already know the way).

May 13 2010, Thursday - Police Week @ Dartmouoth Sportsplex. Arrive in uniform for 6pm !!.

May 17 2010, Badge Night and Camp Lone Cloud Roadshow.

May 15 2010, Jamboree On The Trail (JOTT). An international event! Chances are we will run in to some other scouting group as we hike. We will meet at the school at 9am and carpool to Victoria Park in Truro. Parents and family members are welcome to join us. Everyone will need to bring a bag lunch. We will be returning to the school between 2-2:30pm for pick-up. This will be our final event for the year.

Jul 1 2010, Canada Day Parade (9:00AM) - This will be 2nd Beaver Bank's 11th entry in the Canada Day Parade in Lr. Sackville. (2005 the parade was cancelled by parade mashall due to extremely bad weather) The parade route is from the Sobey's parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking lot, 222 Sackville Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 9:00AM, all Beavers, Cubs & Scouts should be at the Sobey's parking lot no later than 8:30AM. Uniform required. Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Youth may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot. parents are welcome.
