NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Cubs must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the meeting hall with your Cub for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

Apr 21 2007, Collect pledges for ScoutTrees 9-11am, meet at school.

Apr 26 2007, 3rd-year cubs to Scout Troop meeting?

Apr 28/29 2007, GROUP CAMP!! 2 night camp to be held at Fun Forest Camp with all other scouting youth from Beaver Bank. A registration kit will be handed out approximately 2 weeks ahead.

Apr 30 2007, No Cubs - just got back from Group Camp, totally exhausted from such a great time!

May 2 2007, ScoutTrees - tree planting. Location to be announced.

May 7 2007, Swim-up & Going-up Ceremony. 3rd-year Beavers come to join our pack, while 3rd-year Cubs leave us to join the Scout Troop.

May 12 2007, Cub Fun Day @ York Redoubt in Purcell's Cove. We will meet at the school and follow each other out (for those who don't already know the way).

May 14 2007, Bicycle Rodeo. Bring you bicycle and helmet to the school to review bicycle safety.

May 19 2007, Jamboree On The Trail (JOTT). An international event! Chances are we will run in to some other scouting group as we hike. Meet at old Cobequid Multi-Service Centre (bottom of Memory Lane) at 8:45am. We will be hiking the new Sackville Rivers Trail, meeting up with the Beavers behind the Ponderosa for 10am, continuing down along river to Fish Hatchery, then back to ball fields (by Bedford Legion) for pick up around 11am. Bring a snack and juice or water. NOTE: no cost to participate. We collected enough refundable recycling to pay for crests.

May 21 2007, Victoria Day - no cubs.

May 22 2007, Sixer's Council. Planning meeting for sixers and seconds only.

May 24 2007, 3rd-year cubs have been invited to the Scout Troop's closing meeting.

May 26/27 2007, 3rd-year cubs have been invited to the Scout Troop's closing camp.

May 28 2007, Outdoor games. (weather permitting)

June 4 2007, Tour at Beaver Bank Kinsac Volunteer Fire Department. They have two new BIGGER trucks!

June 9/10 2007, Closing Camp. The cubs asked for one more camp, and the leaders agreed to put themselves through it one last time! This overnight camp will be at a site at the very end of Grove Ave.(across Beaver Bank Road from HTB School). This camp will be IN TENTS, so we will need registrations by June 5th in order to plan for equipment. Camp Information Sheet

Jul 1 2007, Canada Day Parade (12:300PM) - This will be 2nd Beaver Bank's 8th entry in the Canada Day Parade in Lr. Sackville. (2005 the parade was cancelled by parade mashall due to extremely bad weather) The parade route is from the Sobey's parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking lot, 222 Sackville Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 1:00PM, all Cubs should be at the Sobey's parking lot no later than 12:30PM. Uniform and Consent form required. Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Cubs may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot. parents are welcome.
