NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Cubs must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the meeting hall with your Cub for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sep 22 2008, New Faces, 1st meeting of the new scouting year. Be Prepared to play some games. ‘BRING A FRIEND’ – have any friends interested in joining cubs? Bring them to either of the next two meeting so they can see what it’s all about!
Sep 29 2008, Hike and scavenger hunt, meet at end of Grove Avenue (almost across from entrance to HTB). Meet at HTB if pouring rain
Oct 6 2008, Checking gear for camp (bring your gear to our meeting). Thanksgiving craft made with stuff from last week’s hike.
Oct 1-12 2008, Thanks for our Camp - (2 night Fall Camp) to be held at Fun Forest Camp , details to follow. Deadline for registration is Oct 2nd.
Oct 13 2008, Thanksgiving Day – no Cub meeting!
Oct 20 2008, ‘SIX’ night – getting in to sixes, practice for inspection, games in sixes, etc. Survival pouches and ropes (for new cubs who don’t already have theirs)
Oct 22 2008, Sixers’ Council – tentative planning meeting with new sixers, seconds and leaders. 6:30pm at Akela’s house
Oct 25 2008, Apple Day. We will meet 10AM at the HTB Jr High. We will be sharing our apples with residents of Beaver Bank. Uniform and a smile are required. For safety parents are requested to accompany the Cubs.
Oct 27 2008, Halloween Party, dress up in a funny or scary costume. HEALTHY treats from parents are appreciated. Games,Witch Toss,Bowling
Nov 3 2008, Rememberance Day craft and ‘minefield’ game. We will be making a big wreath to be placed at the Cenotaph November 11th ceremony.
Nov 11 2008, Remembrance Day - 10:00AM We will meet in Kinsac School parking lot and parade to the cenotaph in front of the Kinsac Fire Station. Uniform Required.
Nov 15 2008, Adopt a Beaver Banker, 10AM we will meet at Mrs. Margeson's yard, Station Road, almost to the end of Kinsac Road, take a left. We will be raking leaves.
Nov 17 2008, NO SCHOOL = NO CUBS.
Nov 24 2008, Badge Bonanza Night. We spend the whole night working on badges.

2008 was an “olympics year”. Participate in ours and earn your Red Star!
Dec 13-14 2008, Christmas Camp with B-Colony Beavers - to be held at Fun Forest Camp , details to follow. Deadline for registration is Dec 8.
Dec 15 2008, Holiday Celebration Night – We will try to involve holiday traditions from different cultures. Parents are invited. Please bring a treat or drink.
Dec 20 2008, Help out at Christmas Tree Lot. Selling these trees is our biggest fundraiser in Beaver Bank. Don’t forget to pick one out for yourself!
Dec 22 2008, Christmas Break – Happy Holidays!. no Cub meeting.
Dec 29 2008, Happy New Year!! no Cub meeting.
Jan 5 2009, Back to school = Back to Cubs! Show & Tell Night.
