Winter 2006 Schedule

NOTICE : "Parent Consent Forms" must be filled out, signed and dated for all events or activities not held at our usual meeting place (Our Pond) Beaver Bank Monarch Drive Elementary School. This is a Scouts Canada requirement. Consent Forms will be supplemented with a "Physical Fitness Certificate". Thank you for your cooperation. Effective Jan 2001 we can now use the new "List Type Consent Form" for Tours & Fundraisers.

NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the Hall with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

February 15th – This is Baden-Powell week. Beavers will learn who Baden-Powell and what he means to Scouting. Also we will be making our torches for the torch light parade. Please bring flash light to decorate.

Feb 20 2006 - Thinking Day Service and campfire in honour of Lord Baden-Powell at HTB Jr High. Uniform required and bring your campfire blanket. Arrival time is 6:15pm and pick up time is 7:30pm sharp.

Feb 22 2006, Tourch Light Parade - 6:15 @ Sycamore Lane School, parade will end at Knox United. Uniform and signed Consent Form are required. click here to find out where is Sycamore Lane School

Feb 26 2006 - Moosehead Hockey game. 4:00 at the Metro Centre. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers, Leaders & their families from all over Halifax Area (formerly Halifax Region) will be in attendance. A special crest will be issued. All tickets are $8.50 from the Scout Shop. Bubbles will collect money (due on Jan 18) and Akala will purchase the tickets at the scout shop so that the whole Colony will sit together. Uniform is required.

March 1st - Join us for weird, wacky, and mind boggling, wondrous MAD SCIENCE experiments

March 4th and 5th - White Tail camp. No worry we have no white tails this year.

March 8th – St. Patrick’s Day crafts, games and lots of fun.

March 15th – No meeting. March Break

March 22nd – Bring a friend or friends night. Keeo’s will be putting on a fun filled puppet show.

March 29th – We will be painting our beaver buggies. Wear some old cloths, you may be getting messy.

As always uniforms to be worn unless otherwise stated, consent forms filled out.
Registration will take place in September as usual, you will be given a reminder call.
We have had a wonderful fun time Beavering with your Beavers, your support has been greatly appreciated in many ways.
