Spring 2010 Schedule

NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the Hall with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

NOTICE : Beavers are NOT ALLOWED to wear BOOTS into the HALL.

NOTICE : Our meeting place (pond) is the Brown Hall, 351 Beaver Bank Road. Phone Number 865-0757. We usually meet on a Wednesday night at the Brown Hall from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, but as you will see from this program we have events taking place on different nights in different locations, so to avoid any disappointments always refer to this program. Beavers bring $1.00 a week dues, this helps to pay for crafts, treats, and some badges etc.

Mar 17 2010, March Berak - No beaver meeting.

Mar 24 2010, Indoor campfire, parents and siblings welcome.

Mar 31 2010, Easter craft, Easter egg hunt, special snack.

Apr 7 2010, Visit to animal hospital, (details to follow).

Apr 10-11 2010, Fun Forest Tenderpad Camp (White Tail Beavers Only) This is a getting ready to join Cubs experiance. Pre-registration is required. A registration kit will be handed out a few weeks in advance.

Apr 14 2010, Beach night, making Zen memory gardens.

Apr 21 2010, Parent Teacher - No beaver meeting.

Apr 23-24 2010, GROUP CAMP!! 2 night camp to be held at Fun Forest Camp with all other scouting youth from 2nd Beaver Bank. A registration kit will be handed out approximately 2 weeks ahead.

Apr 28 2010, Kite flying.

May 3 2010, Swim Up - This is an event for the entire colony to attend and help our white tails swim up to cubs. This event will be held at HTB from 6:15 - 7:30.

May 5 2010, Scoutree planting. Details to follow.

May 12 2010, Riverside walk.

May 19 2010, Planting seeds/bulbs for Spring.

May 26 2010, Closing party, to be announced.

Jul 1 2011, Canada Day Parade (9:00AM) - This will be 2nd Beaver Bank's 12th entry in the Canada Day Parade in Lr. Sackville. The parade route is from the Sobey's parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking lot, 222 Sackville Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 9:00AM, all Beavers, Cubs & Scouts should be at the Sobey's parking lot no later than 8:30AM. Uniform required. Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Youth may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot. parents are welcome.
