Winter 2005 Schedule

NOTICE : "Parent Consent Forms" must be filled out, signed and dated for all events or activities not held at our usual meeting place (Our Pond) Beaver Bank Monarch Drive Elementary School. This is a Scouts Canada requirement. Consent Forms will be supplemented with a "Physical Fitness Certificate". Thank you for your cooperation. Effective Jan 2001 we can now use the new "List Type Consent Form" for Tours & Fundraisers.

NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the school with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

Jan. 11th 2005 - Welcome back, show and tell evening.

Jan. 18th 2005 - Tobogganing at Monarch School (weather permitting) usual meeting times,

dress warmly! B Colony will be joining us for this event.

Jan. 25th 2005 - Ground Hog Day crafts.

SATURDAY Jan 29th 2005 - Sleigh Ride and tour of the barn at Windgate Stables

(approx. 2 hours). Details to follow.

Feb. 1st 2005 - White tail Beavers obtain their magic stripe. All Beavers welcome.

SATURDAY Feb. 5th - Area Colony ot Pack linkage event, for Whitetail Beavers only. Information

to follow.

Feb. 8th 2005 - Indoor campfire, please bring your campfire blankets.

FRIDAY Feb. 18th 2005 - Tentative date for sleepover at 1st Sackville Church, information to follow.

MONDAY Feb. 21st 2005 - Start of Scout-Guide Week. Thinking Day Service at HTB Jr. High. Indoor

campfire. More information to follow.

Feb 22nd 2005 - We will be decorating our flashlights for the torchlight parade.

WEDNESDAY Feb 23rd 2005 - Area Torchlight parade, meet at Sycamore Lane School at 6:15 p.m.

We will parade to Knox United Church for an outdoor "Campfire ceremony" followed by Hot Chocolate. Dress for the weather!

Mar. 1st 2005 - Bring a friend night.

March 4th - 6th 2005 - Area White Tail Camp (white tails only) information to follow.

Mar. 8th 205 - St. Patrick's Day Crafts.

MARCH 15TH 2005 MARCH BREAK. NO BEAVER MEETING. HAVE A GREAT TIME BUSY BEAVERS.

WEDNESDAY Mar. 23rd 2005 - Movie Night! "The Jungle Book". Meet at Brown Hall with B Colony.

Usual time.

Mar. 29th 2005 - Indoor campfire. Please bring your campfire blankets.

SATURDAY April 2nd. Day Camp (not overnight) at Fun Forest Camp with B Colony. Information to follow.

Apr. 5th 2005 - NO MEETING (PARENT TEACHER).

Apr. 12th 2005 - Beaver Buggy building ( wear old clothes!)

Apr. 19th 2005 - Beaver Buggy Racing.

Apr. 23rd 2005 - Tentative date for Area Beavers (info to follow).

Apr. 26th or 27th - Obtaining pledges for Trees for Canada.

Apr. 29th- May 1st 2005 - Our big group camp with Cubs and Scouts (details to follow).

May 3rd 2005 - No Meeting. (Just back from camp)

WEDNESDAY MAY 4TH 2005 - PLANTING TREES FOR CANADA - PARENT HELP REQUIRED!

May 10th 2005 - Swim up ceremony for white tail Beavers. All Beavers attend.

May 14th 2005 - Jamboree on the Trail. (Details to follow).

May 17th 2005 - Fire station visit. ( Details to follow).

May 24th 2005 - Nature walk, weather permitting.

May 31st 2005 - Closing party (details to follow.)
