Winter 2001 Schedule
NOTICE : "Parent Consent Forms" must be filled out, signed and dated for all events or activities not held at our usual meeting place (Our Pond) Beaver Bank Monarch Drive Elementary School. This is a Scouts Canada requirement. Consent Forms will be supplemented with a "Physical Fitness Certificate". Thank you for your cooperation. Effective Jan 2001 we can now use the new "List Type Consent Form" for Tours & Fundraisers.
NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the school with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Jan 9 2001 , Show & Tell, 1st meeting after Christmas I'm sure you have something you can share with the colony.
Jan 16 2001 , Transformation, remember how your tail colors have changed over the years, now the white tails have silver stripes.
Jan 23 2001 , Sledding & Hot Chocolate. Siblings are welcome however they must be accompanied by a parent.
Jan 27 2001 , Sespenaak Area White Tail Camp, Jan 27-Jan 28. This event is for White Tail Beavers only. Beavers from all of Sespenaak will attend. This is your chance to learn about Wolf Cubs. Beavers will be treated as tender pads and even earn their 1st Cub badge.
Jan 30 2001 , Friends Of The Forest.
Feb 6 2001 , Cancelled due to the snow, its too deep for the Beavers to
gather and have a proper campfire. Cutdoor Campfire. To be held at
Sunshine's house. Please come between 6:15 and 6:25. pick up is the usual
7:30
Feb 13 2001 , Torch Light Craft
Feb 17 2001 , Sespenaak Area linkage event. 12:30 - 4:30 at The Church of the Good Shepard. The event is for White Tail Beavers only. The Beavers will team up with Cubs to creat a snow sculpture. This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather. Parents may participate. Hot chocolate will be provided. White Tail Program.
Feb 18 2001 , Scout Guide Week. Feb 18 to Feb 25. Wear your Uniform to Church(Feb 18), or School(Feb 22). Tell your friends about Beavers maybe they would like to join.
Feb 19 2001 , Scouts Own Service. The service is to be held in the Gym at Harold T Barret Jr High. Starting at 6:30. The theme is Volunteers. Parents are welcome.
Feb 20 2001 , Cancelled - its a busy week.
Feb 21 2001 , Area Torch Light Parade & food bank drive. The parade route has changed for this year. Start time is 6:15 at St John Vanier Church on the corner of Sackville Drive and The Beaver Bank Road. We will begin to march at 6:30, following the Beaver Bank Road to the new Faith Baptist Church where there will be a short campfire and refreshments. Please bring a food bank donation.
Feb 22 2001 , Baden-Powell's birthday, lets wear our uniforms to school to celebrate and show our involvement in Scouting.
Feb 27 2001 , Awesome Beavers. we will need to practice our parent night song and make invitations.
Mar 6 2001 , Parents Night. Beavers have invited there parents to join our colony. We look forward to sharing in our fun and festivity. refreshments.
Mar 13 2001 , Cancelled - Have a fun March Break. See you at our next gathering March 20.
